Summary

Tuniri does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device with no network communication of any kind. This policy exists to be transparent about our approach to privacy.

Information We Collect

None. Tuniri does not collect personal information, usage data, analytics, device identifiers, or any other data. The app does not request or require internet, network, or location permissions.

Data Stored on Your Device

Tuniri stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Child profile names (entered by parents, stored locally only)
  • Learning progress per letter, word, and number
  • Star balance and badge collection
  • Pet selection and growth stage
  • Session history and settings preferences
  • Saved paintings and creative work

All locally stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Data Deletion

Parents can delete all data for any child profile at any time from the parent dashboard (Settings > Reset Progress). Uninstalling the app also permanently deletes all stored data.

Third-Party Services

Tuniri does not integrate with, communicate with, or include SDKs from any third-party services. There are no analytics tools, advertising networks, social media integrations, or cloud services in the app.

Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Tuniri is designed for children aged 2-6 and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR provisions for children.

COPPA defines "collecting personal information" as receiving or gathering data from children — which requires the data to be transmitted to an operator. Since Tuniri has no servers, no network access, and never receives any information from your device, we do not "collect" personal information under COPPA's definition. Any name entered in the app (such as a child's profile name) is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

GDPR obligations around consent, subject access requests, and data transfers apply to controllers and processors who hold or access personal data. Because we have no access to any data on your device, we do not act as a data controller or processor under GDPR. All data is held solely by you, on your own device, under your full control.

In-App Purchases

The full version of Tuniri is available as a one-time in-app purchase processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to any payment information. No in-app purchases are presented within child-facing flows.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Our core commitment will not change: Tuniri will never collect personal data.
